If you are particularly lazy, rejoice in the ability to summon shadow illusions to do your chores! Like trickery and support roles? The Illusionist is your ideal class.

Illusionist Skills

Wielder of daggers

"I be de best dungeon master!"  —Knock

Early Access! These skills are purposely vague because I'm purposely lazy. Or... (and?) because I need the flexibility to change skills if the story calls for it. Take what's here with a grain of salt. I would sooner break continuity with this here fine website than make the story worse.

⚠️
Some may consider skill information to be spoilers. If this is you, you are definitely in the wrong place! Why not check out the soundtrack instead?

Prismatic Ray

Fire a prismatic ray that deals damage over time, ramping up for the first 3 seconds.

Summon Illusion

Summon an illusion to distract enemies. This skill pairs well with the Illusionist’s Distracted Backstab implicit skill.

Chrysalis Cocoon

Envelop yourself in a protective cocoon, regenerating health and mana.

Summon Shadow

Summon a shadow illusion capable of attacking or performing your chores.

Hidden Barrier

Generate a camouflaged barrier that can conceal entities or locations.

Decoy Teleport

Teleport a short distance, leaving behind a casual-acting decoy.

Mimicry Strike

Duplicate the enemies weapon and attack with it. The weapon loses durability over time. During this time, you can convert the weapon into another shape, so long as it’s smaller. Or the weapon can be dismissed in a blinding burst.

Blind

Produce a bright flash to temporarily blind enemies.

Ephemeral Enchantment

Enhance weapons or items with illusory properties, increasing their perceived value or intimidation factor.

Phantom Pierce

Create an illusion of your weapon striking from multiple angles. All except for one are fake. After the skill is done, the weapon teleports back to the Illusionist.

A Flurry of Butterflies

If you take damage, you may instead turn into a stream of butterflies that moves you to a nearby, random destination.

The damage is not taken.

Luminous Link

Connect with an ally, splitting incoming damage and disguising both of you to look the same. The effect ends after the set duration or until one is killed or debuffed.

Guardian Glamour

Summon a large guardian that cannot attack, but it can absorb damage.

Eclipsing Echo

Duplicate yourself or an ally briefly, mimicking their abilities at a reduced effect.

Hall of Holography

The Illusionist can transform the area to create an interactive illusionary space, such as a dining room or a place from memory. Can be used to disorient enemies or create a nice place for allies. Good for training.

Morph Mimic

The Illusionist can change their appearance at will. The effectiveness of this is based on their Intelligence and ability to hold the mental image in their mind for the full duration.

See Through Illusions

The Illusionist can see through illusions created by those of equal or below the Illusionist’s level.

Distracted Backstab

Deal backstab damage to targets distracted by your illusions.

Glimmer

While an illusion is active, gain 30% more mana regeneration.

Mount

An Illusionist's mount first starts as a caterpillar until level 20. The following mounts are available: Monarch Butterfly, Isabella Tiger Moth, Red Admiral Butterfly, and Silver-Spotted Tiger Moth.

Elysian Elevate

Lightly lift off the ground a few inches. The Illusionist can hover to evade negative ground effects. This can be done by standing or sitting.

Metamorphic Ascension

Your caterpillar mount has metamorphed into a moth or butterfly.

Illusion Master

Your illusions lasts twice as long. Illusions that deal damage now do 20% more damage.

Eidolon Defeat

When an illusion breaks, it returns 20% of the mana used to created it. It also explodes, creating a small area of silence, preventing enemies from using their skills for 5 seconds.
